Step 1: Sign up for a private audition time with Mr. Haro in the choir room or by contacting Mr. Haro via email at harok@svusd.org

Step 2: Prepare a 30 to 60 second solo song to be sung acapella during your private audition.

Step 3: Review and prepare your basic solfege and rhythm counting as this will highly increase your consideration for an advanced ensemble.

Step 4: Attend your audition. Please plan to arrive vocally warmed-up and ten minutes before your time slot to fill out an audition form. The callback list will be posted on the choir  door (room 245) by 6:00 pm on June 2nd and online at www.thhschoirs.com.

Step 5: Please pick up your callback music from Mr. Haro in the choir room or by downloading the sheet music directly at www.thhschoirs.com.

Step 6: Learn the music to your specific voice part that you indicated on your audition form (to be handed out the day of your private audition). Music should be prepared so that you are confident to sing your voice part in solo quartets with sheet music and done acapella.

Step 7: Callbacks will take place on June 8th after school from 3:30 to 4:30 in the choir room. If you are on the callback list, you must stay the entire time to be considered for an advanced ensemble.

Step 8: The final ensemble list will be posted Friday, June 8th on the choir door by 6:00pm.

*Please note - All students are placed into an ensemble in the Trabuco Hills High School Vocal Department. If you do not find your name on the callback list, this does not mean you did not make an ensemble.
